HEALTH, WELLBEING & COMMUNITY
ST KILDA FOOTBALL CLUB
2018 - CURRENT
In collaboration with City Collective, Stage 2 of the Moorabbin Oval Redevelopment sees the completion of the high performance training, administration and game day facilities for the St Kilda FC and community.
A new grandstand building brings matches back to the spiritual home of the club. Below the grandstand, a new community and club aquatic facilities incorporates 25m learn to swim pool, hydrotherapy pool, gymnasium and change rooms. The clubs commitment to the health and wellbeing of its staff, players and the broader community extends to the addition of The Danny Frawley Centre for Health and Wellbeing, promoting mental health and rehabilitation.
The architecture responds to the adjacent St Kilda FC Stage 1 facilities, through the use of materiality and form, as well as addresses to street and the oval to embrace the connection to the community.
